A Brief History
Initially accepted into Boston University’s College of General Studies, I was fortunate enough to begin my academic journey with a six-week summer program abroad in London, England. Immersing myself in a new culture and creative market sparked a passion for advertising, as it opened my eyes to the power of storytelling. By the end of the program, I returned to Boston with a newfound interest and quickly changed my major from Media Science to Advertising.
For the first time, I felt a genuine connection to my coursework, yet I couldn’t shake the feeling that something was missing. As I dove deeper into advertising and the creative process, I realized that to craft campaigns that truly resonate, I needed a deeper understanding of human behavior and decision-making. This insight inspired me to pursue a dual degree in Philosophy, which helped sharpen my critical thinking.
This blend of disciplines has become the cornerstone of my strategic approach. Philosophy strengthens my ability to question, uncover relevant insights, and approach problems from progressive angles. My academic background within these disciplines allows me to translate those insights into impactful campaigns.
From exploring new cultures to engaging in hands-on marketing projects, my experiences in and outside the classroom have reinforced my belief that successful strategies aren’t centered around the product; they stem from stories. This storytelling fuels my passion for uncovering the "why" behind consumer behavior and turning that understanding into creative strategies that produce results and resonance.
